Following the SBE16 and SBE19-Thessaloniki conferences, SBE23-Thessaloniki “Sustainable built environments: Paving the way for achieving the targets of 2030 and beyond” attempts to explore sustainability in the built environment as the means to achieve the targets for climate change mitigation and adaptation. The conference was address the three main pillars of sustainability: environment, economy and society, studied within the prism of our living space/habitat.
The previous experience of the organizers, as well as the favorable weather conditions, the city’s and the country’s hospitality and Thessaloniki’s historical background create the environment for another very successful and fruitful event.
The conference is organized by the Laboratory of Building Construction and Building Physics, Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is part of the SBE21-23 Conference series.
